St. Agnes Healthcare
In 1862, The Daughters of Charity began St. Agnes Hospital, carrying on their centuries-old mission of service. The first Catholic hospital in Baltimore, St. Agnes was originally created to provide nursing care for the poor. The facility moved to its present location in 1876 and was reorganized as a full-service hospital in 1906.

One of the differentiators for Saint Agnes in its ability to deliver top quality healthcare lies deep within the facility itself. This is it’s information technology infrastructure upon which all information is managed, shared and disseminated. Saint Agnes has been recognized as a leader in healthcare IT and as such deploys some of the most innovative solutions today. Saint Agnes’ true success in this arena comes from its desire to provide the best tools and the best doctors in an environment that fosters better health for the surrounding community.
